The holidays are nearly over and it’s time to start thinking about getting back into uni. Now’s the perfect time to consider taking up some extra–curricular activities to breathe life into your resume. 

Groan.

“The holidays went too quick.”

“I didn’t catch up on sleep enough.”

“I worked heaps but saved very little.”

I hear you. As much as we’d like to prolong our holidays as much as possible, it’s better to get into the habit of study before the semester starts, rather than procrastinating until something is due. Here a few ways to get back into it for the New Year:

It’s that time of year again. Time to pin-up your wall planner and brace your biros as we roll out of another summer and hit the books. While we law students get a bad rap for our low contact hours and sedentary study style, there are a few muscles we flex more than most. This is of course in addition to speed reading, which believe it or not is an actual international sport. It naturally follows then, that all this incidental exercise should increase our aptitude in certain physical endeavours. So hit the ground running, spike the heart rate and stay positive and sane with these 5 sports law students should ace.

So you’ve turned up to enrolment day at your new law school – and it is just an information overload! Well I’m here to tell that it’s going to be OK. Many of you will be looking to study your Bachelor of Laws alongside another degree. In your double degree, you’ll soon discover that studying law is very different and requires you to apply yourself to make the most of your studies.

So you got in to Law School. Super. Gird your loins, bitches.
